In my time with Nobleworks Greetings, I’ve done several series of cards: the Seven Dwarves, the From Zero To Hero super-heroes, the Family Trees and others. One is a short series of cards from my Funny Paper comic strip featuring “The Little Guy”. He first appeared in editorial cartoons for The Delaware Gazette, but has popped up in other venues too, like cards.

He’s a cute little guy. The ladies adore him.

He’s kind of a shorthand version of me who hangs around the margins, sometimes making pertinent observations on what’s going on—he was a hit in the newspaper. Readers loved finding him in the scene like Waldo, and if he wasn’t there, they would notice it and remark on it to me, “I looked for him and he wasn’t there!”
